Three Iran films screened at Fajr Filmfest

Three Iranian films have been screened on the 7th day of the Fajr Film Festival.

‘Nostalgia Celebration’ by Pouria Azarbaijani, Asghar Naeimi’s ‘Highlight’ and ‘Mahoura’ directed by Hamid Zargarnejad have been screened at the 7th day of the Fajr Film Festival.

The three movies started the privates screening at the main competition section of the event.

‘Nostalgia Celebration’ tells the story of people’s loneliness related to the social networks.

‘Mahoura’ depicts the story of a border village in Iran where people have a strange local custom.

Produced by Sasan Salvar, ‘Highlight’ is a romantic drama.

Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival is being held across Iran from February 1, 2018. The event will come to an end on February 11.
